NEW SUPPORT GROUP Starting January 13th, 2025
Rescued: Surviving and Thriving after Sexual Betrayal
If you’ve experienced the pain of sexual betrayal in your marriage or relationship, you know how overwhelming it can feel. The emotions, questions, and uncertainty can weigh heavily, but you don’t have to face them alone. At Harbor, we’re offering a support group specifically for women who are navigating this challenging journey. Together, we’ll explore the path to healing, drawing from the powerful insights in Shelley Martinkus’s Rescued, a workbook designed to help you move from survival to thriving.
What to expect:
During this six-week, small-group program, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other women who understand what you’re going through, all within a safe and supportive environment. With a limit of 8 participants, this intimate setting will provide a place for you to share your story, process your emotions, and begin the work of rebuilding trust and emotional well-being.
Who: This group is open to women who have experienced sexual betrayal or infidelity within their marriage or long-term relationships.
When: Monday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm (Eastern Time USA), from January 13th - February 17th, 2025 (six sessions total).
Where: For accessibility reasons, this group will meet remotely via Zoom for all group sessions.
Cost: This group has a one-time fee of $250. Participants will also be asked to purchase their own copy of Rescued, By Shelley Martinkus.

Investing in your healing process can often be a helpful step in showing you're ready and committed to the work of recovery. Each evening session costs about $40, which is much less than the cost of a standard therapy session. This fee helps cover the cost of professional facilitation and the resources provided throughout the group.
-
We limit the group to 8 women to ensure a safe, supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to share and connect deeply with others.
-
Yes, confidentiality is a top priority for us. What is shared within the group stays within the group. We strive to create a trusting and secure environment for everyone. In order to create a space of safety, however, we do ask that all participants have their cameras on during our group sessions.
-
While we encourage you to commit to all six sessions for the best experience, we understand that life can sometimes get in the way. If you need to miss a session, we recommend connecting with the facilitator to catch up on what was covered.

While the group is open to women of all backgrounds, Harbor Christian Counseling offers faith-based support, and spiritual healing may be part of the recovery process for those who desire it. However, you are welcome to participate regardless of your faith perspective.
